Essential Functions & Responsibilities:
- Implementing and enhancing our existing native JS libraries and Node.js-based backend microservices.
- Developing new web-based applications and features.
- Enhancing the existing framework by building reusable code libraries.
- Optimizing applications for performance and scalability and working on robustness.
- Actively collaborating with a cross-functional team of Product Managers, Support, QA, and DevOps engineers.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
- 5 to 6 years of industry-relevant experience.
- Strong understanding of JavaScript, Node.js, algorithms, databases, networking, and distributed systems.
- Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and AWS or GCP is a plus.
- Ability to work with browser rendering behavior and performance.
- Awareness of cross-browser compatibility issues and ways to work around such issues.
- Effective communication skills - someone who can explain complex technical concepts to product managers, support engineers, and other developers.
